MyState Bank Arena is Tasmania’s largest and most versatile indoor entertainment venue. For over 20 years, it has hosted major concerts, trade shows, exhibitions, sporting events, and conferences—while also providing an intimate setting for meetings, dinners, weddings, and private functions.
Located in Glenorchy, just 10 minutes from Hobart, the arena offers unrivalled on-site parking for 1,200+ cars and sits on the banks of the Derwent River with panoramic water and mountain
views. The adjacent Glenorchy Art & Sculpture Park (GASP) adds to the venue’s appeal with contemporary art installations and a scenic waterfront walk.
In July 2020, the NBL announced Tasmania’s successful bid for its 10th team—the Tasmanian JackJumpers, who debuted in the 2021/22 season. As part of this agreement, the Tasmanian Government invested $68.5 million to redevelop the venue, formerly known as the Derwent Entertainment Centre. In June 2021, following its transformation, the arena was renamed MyState Bank Arena through a landmark partnership with MyState Bank.
